      Cem Meliko\u011flu graduated from Istanbul Technical University\u2019s Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in 1988. With extensive executive experience in maritime, energy, occupational health and safety, and corporate governance, Meliko\u011flu serves as a consultant at La Mer Law & Consultancy.<\/strong><\/p>

      During his professional career, Meliko\u011flu held international positions at ExxonMobil for more than 21 years, covering Europe, Africa and the Middle East, where he worked on management systems and corporate processes in health, safety, environment and security. He subsequently held senior executive positions at Petrol Ofisi and the TANAP Natural Gas Pipeline Project.

      <\/p>

      Throughout his career, Meliko\u011flu has worked on developing management systems, occupational health and safety, environmental processes and corporate structuring in the energy and maritime sectors. He has also served on various boards and committees of PETDER and the Chamber of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.

      <\/p>

      Meliko\u011flu served three terms as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish Lloyd Foundation between 2015 and 2023, contributing to the organisation\u2019s international development and its work in the maritime sector. In academia, he has taught Occupational Health and Safety at Istanbul Technical University and participated in professional seminars at various universities.

      <\/p>
